Melody Shuman Receives Distinguished Honor from Living Martial Arts Legend Chuck Norris

Las Vegas, NV: On July 16th, 2005 on behalf of the United Fighting Arts Federation, Martial Arts legend Chuck Norris presented martial arts mentor Melody Shuman with an honorary award for her contributions on teaching children. Shuman was invited to speak to UFAF school owners and instructors during their annual event this summer. Topics covered included age-specific methods that generate results when teaching martial arts to children.
During the UFAF banquet dinner, Chuck Norris himself presented Melody Shuman with a plaque in appreciation for sharing her knowledge with the organization’s members. Over 1,000 people attended the banquet. “It was an extremely high honor to accept an award from a living martial arts legend,” Shuman said. “Master Norris established a fantastic organization. I was impressed by the atmosphere amongst UFAF members.”
