Our Mission Statement
 At On the Mat Martial Arts, our goal is to provide the most comprehensive, age-specific martial arts training programs available on the market today. We are committed to establishing measurable results physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. We are also dedicated to providing every student with the most positive training atmosphere possible.
What does this mean for you?
 Our systems were designed exclusively to meet the stages of development of each individual student. We researched the learning and growing capabilities of students, ages 3 & up. From that research, we developed curriculums that will maximize training by matching physical, intellectual, emotional, and social stages. 10am Beginners Ages 3-6 (Future Kidz)
11:30am Intermediates & Advanced Ages 5&6 (Future Kidz)
1pm All students ages 7-9 (Karate Kidz Zone Prep)
May 5th & 6th - Fun Days
Students may their school T-Shirts and bring a friend to class

Melody Shuman Earns 5th Degree through the Pan American Taekwondo Federation
 Ramsey, NJ: On behalf of the Pan American Taekwondo Federation, Grand Master Bai presented Melody Shuman with the prestigious title of 5th degree Black Belt warranted for her continued contributions within the Martial Arts industry. Melody Shuman has earned international recognition for many innovative developments including the creation of the widely used Little Ninja program and the highly acclaimed Age-Specific children’s Future Kidz series and Karate Kidz Zone series. Shuman has been in the Martial Arts for over 18 years with five years contributed to Martial Arts research and development which has influenced over 2,000 schools in over 9 countries.

| Distinguished Honor from UFAF!
 Las Vegas, NV: On July 16th, 2005 on behalf of the United Fighting Arts Federation, Martial Arts legend Chuck Norris presented martial arts mentor Melody Shuman with an honorary award for her contributions on teaching children. Shuman was invited to speak to UFAF school owners and instructors during their annual event this summer. Topics covered included age-specific methods that generate results when teaching martial arts to children.
